3K a year Salamander Middleburg is looking for Full Time or Part Time Drivers to join our Five Star and Five Diamond team! This is a seasonal job for Summer until Mid September.
Must be available to work AM shift- as early as 6:
00 am and or PM Shift - starting at 2:
00pm including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to Drive 15 passenger van and at least 25
year old POSITION OBJECTIVE To assist transporting our International and Internship students from Housing area in Leesburg Virginia to and from our Resort during the Month of May through September.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Transport International and Internship students to and from Housing on a daily basis.
Transport guest to local points of interest in the Middleburg area.
Assist with Valet parking and or guest luggage.
Operate company, guest and member vehicles both automatic and standard.
Perform additional duties as required by Management, Bell Captain and/or business demands.
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel:
Assist in handling mail and providing guest with information regarding hotel facilities and local attractions.
Book reservations for those guests who approach the Front Desk.
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
Register guests into the computer, verifying reservation, address, and credit information.
REQUIREMENTS Must have a valid driver's license required with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
Manual driving experience preferred.
Must be comfortable or have experience driving 15 passenger van and have the age required to drive this type of vehicle (for car insurance purposes must be 25
years old).
Be able to work in extreme weather environments for long periods of time.
Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, stoop, and able to lift objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
Be able to work in standing position for long periods of time.
Be familiar with local area and attractions.
BASIC REQUIRED SKILLS Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must possess basic computational ability.
Must possess basic computer skills.
General knowledge of the city where hotel is located and its attractions.
Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Most work tasks are performed indoors.
Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems.
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced ability for up to 4 hours in length.
Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments of the hotel on a timely basis.
Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space.
Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.

Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
